Yoga for Active Ageing

Accessible and empowering yoga for older adults
Chair and chair optional classes

I am passionate about helping older adults, and anyone with mobility challenges, enjoy yoga safely.

Yoga does not have to be intimidating! I make sure all my classes are welcoming and fully adaptable.

Whether you find getting up and down from the floor is difficult, uncomfortable, or impossible - I have a class that is right for you!

Choose the style that suits you:

Chair Yoga

Gentle, mainly seated yoga with some standing poses using a chair for support.

Supported Flow Yoga

A hybrid of mat-based and chair yoga, giving you the choice to practice seated, standing, or on the floor.

Both classes focus on functional fitness, flexibility, and confidence in everyday movement.

You can move at your own pace, with choices to make each pose feel right for your body.

"Truth be known I have always been scared of ‘yoga’ but your class made me feel that this is attainable for me."

Hi, I am Alison — a fully qualified yoga teacher at Flexion Cotswolds, I am also currently training in sports massage and Reiki.

My approach to teaching is shaped by both my professional background and my personal journey. After going through breast cancer I have a deep understanding of how important gentle, compassionate movement is for both the body and the mind.

I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, and I’m here to support you in feeling stronger, more mobile, and more confident — one small step at a time.
